This is the last time I will subject you to a Photobooth picture, promise!
Today we stepped out to the Guadalajara Zoo! Solo-boy LOVES animals and one of his favorite movies is Madagascar. So, naturally he wanted to see the "rarrs" "raffs" zebas" and "ippos". We splurged the extra 2 bucks (I love Mexico) and took the Safari ride! It was amazing! We were all crammed in one row of this huge jeep (Solo-boy & his buddies Darius and Charlie) and set out into the "jungle." The safari took us through fields full of antelope, zebra, ostriches, goats, and other unnamed horned creatures... past a waterfall...through a "river"... ending with....
THAT WE FED. OUT OF OUR OWN HANDS. AND PETTED.
I, soon to be 29 year old, (ahem. tuesday. ahem.) was thrilled beyond belief. One of the coolest things I've ever done! Ok, I may be over-reacting. But definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done as a mommy with Solo-boy. So fun!!!
(and of course no pictures to document the amazing-ness. so you will have to take my word for it.)
My parents arrive next Saturday to visit for 10 days... with our new camera in tow! We are so excited for some quality time with Grandpa and Nonna.
Have a great rest of the weekend, everybody! We have Monday off here in Mexico so it's a long one, very much needed.
You can see past weeks' Steppin' Out posts here.
I am linked up with Mandy from Harper's Happenings (linky up Sunday!)
